Edon Art Show

The Edon Branch Library will be holding a local art show Monday, August 07 through Saturday, August 12th. The public will be able to view the artwork throughout the week, and during Edon Days on Saturday, August 12 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Visitors will vote on their favorite pieces for four different prize categories, People’s Choice, Adult, Junior, and Children’s. After the votes are counted, the winner of the People’s Choice award will receive $50, the Adult winner will be awarded $25, as will the winners of the Junior and Children’s categories. 
If you are interested in participating, the library is looking for artists from Edon to exhibit their work. You will need to submit your art to the library by Friday, August 4th.  This is an open medium competition including photography, crafts, quilting, weaving, painting, sculpting etc.
