Tail Waggin' Tutors is coming to the Edgerton and Stryker Branch Libraries! The fun reading program allows children to sit and read one-on one to a licensed therapy dog. This allows kids to feel comfortable practicing their reading skills with a furry friend!

August Book Club Schedule

Williams County Soil & Water Conservation Program moved to Stryker Library due to Heat
Williams County Soil & Water Conservation District Program 'Superheroes Down Under, Adventures in Soil' for children finishing grades 2-7 at Springfield Park in STRYKER has been moved to the STRYKER BRANCH LIBRARY, due to the heat. This program is from 10 am - 11:30 am TODAY, July 19th.

West Unity Library Summer Reading Schedule
West Unity Branch Library summer reading programs, with the theme of “A Universe of Stories”, will run from June 4 through July 25. The library will show movies and serve popcorn every Wednesday at 3:00 pm, and will hold many special programs throughout the summer months on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with all events starting at 3:00 pm, unless otherwise mentioned.
Stryker Library Summer Reading Programs
The Stryker Branch Library invites area children and families to take part in the exciting programs that will be offered during Summer Reading! With a theme of “A Universe of Stories” summer reading will run from June 4 through June 26. All programs will begin at 1:00 pm, unless otherwise noted.
Williams County Public Library will hold a “Retirement Reception”, in honor of WCPL Director, Jeff Yahraus. The reception will take place in the Carnegie Room of the Bryan Main Library, located at 107 E High St, Bryan, OH 43506, and will be held on Sunday, May 21st from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The public is welcome to attend, and the event is open to all ages. Cakes, punch, and other food goodies will be served. Come celebrate the 43 years of service Jeff has dedicated to the community and to the library!

The Williams County Public Library with branches in Bryan, Edgerton, Edon, Pioneer, Stryker, and West Unity will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
The Williams County Public Library is in the process of restoring the Carnegie stairs of the Bryan Main Library, with construction currently ongoing. Once complete the new limestone steps, with side supports made of all the original bricks, will be open to the public for library use!
