In order to create a safe library environment for our patrons and staff, we have made protocol changes for visiting inside the library. These protocols are guided by local, state, and national health officials. We ask for your flexibility and patience during this time. We are continuously monitoring the health situation, and protocol changes may be made as updates from health officials and the Ohio Governor are made available. We thank all of our patrons and community members for your continuous support for the library! You are all so appreciated by WCPL!
Inside the Library Protocols:
Everyone is required to wear a mask/face covering for the duration of their time inside the library. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to those unable to do so due to a medical condition. The library does have a limited amount of masks to give to patrons who don’t have a mask of their own to wear.
Each patron will be required to pass a health assessment before entering the library, and upon entering will need to use hand sanitizer.
If you do not wish to wear a mask, or do not agree to the library health assessment, we are happy to accommodate you through our curbside services. Learn more at: https://www.mywcpl.org/content/curbside-services

If you are returning materials, designated carts for returns will be available in the library. Book drops will also be open at branch locations.
Please Note: Items will still appear on your library card for a week after they are returned as we are quarantining materials for 7 days prior to disinfecting and checking in. No fines are being charged during this time.
Food and drinks are prohibited to bring inside the library.
Browsing has been limited. Magazines and newspapers will not be available to read or checkout. (Many magazine publications are available for digital checkout on Libby/Overdrive) Staff assistance is limited in order to maintain social distance.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The children’s play areas are temporarily closed, and all toys have been put away for safety.
Maintain six feet of distance between yourself and others. Lounge seating is currently unavailable.
Occupancy is limited and each patron will be allotted a maximum browsing time of 30 minutes. For this reason, we ask that for now, please plan to exit the library once you have checked out your materials.
Meeting rooms are temporarily unavailable for reservation.
Computer Use will be available by appointment only and will be limited to 30 minutes per visit, with one appointment per hour. Please contact your local WCPL branch at 833-633-7323 to schedule an appointment.
Print, Copy, and Fax Services will also be available. Normal rates will apply. You do not need to schedule an appointment to print, copy, or fax documents, unless you are using this service through curbside appointment.
Sign up for a library card! If you do not already have a WCPL card, stop in during open hours for your new card. Children will need a parent/guardian signature on their library card application.
Free Wi-Fi is available!
Digital Library: Remember you can access thousands of free materials through our digital library, including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, TV shows, movies, music and more on hoopla digital, Overdrive, or the Libby App!
