If you love to read and discuss books, you are invited to come participate and be a part of the many book clubs offered by Williams County Public Library. Various WCPL branches host monthly meetings for their clubs. The meeting schedule for September 2019 is as follows:
Wednesday, September 04 at 1:00 pm: The Pioneer Branch Library Booktalkers will discuss, “Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind” by Ann B. Ross.
Thursday, September 05 at 6:00 pm: The Edgerton Branch Library adult book club, Open Horizons, will talk on, "Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens.
Thursday, September 12 at 11:45 am: The Bryan Main Library adult cookbook club, Page & Plate will discuss and sample recipes from, "Delish: Eat Like Every Day's the Weekend".
Thursday, September 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm: Murder by the Book, at Bryan Main Library, will go over the book "The Maltese Falcon" by Dashiell Hammett.
Tuesday, September 17 at 1:00 pm: The West Unity Branch Library book club, All Booked Up, will be talking on "City of Thieves" by David Benioff.
Wednesday, September 18 at 1:00 pm: The Pioneer Branch Library Booktalkers will discuss, “The Mountain Between Us” by Charles Martin.
Monday, September 23rd at 6:30 pm: The Stryker Branch Library’s OverReaders Anonymous adult book club, will talk over "Sold on a Monday" by Kristina McMorris.
Wednesday, September 25 at 7:00 pm: The Edon Branch Library club, Page Turners, will talk on "Grace Under Pressure" by Julia Hyzy.
Thursday, September 26 at 7:00 pm: The Edon Branch Library murder mystery book club, Murder in the Library will meet to go over, "Hunting Fear" by Kay Hooper.
Thursday, September 26 at 6:30 pm: The Bryan Main Library Novel Ideas will discuss "The Lowland" by Jhumpa Lahiri.
If you are interested in joining any of these book clubs, stop in to the WCPL branch where the book club is located, pick up a copy of the next book to be discussed at the library desk, and attend next month’s meeting!
