Celebrate National Library Week

National Library WeekWilliams County Public Libraries will be joining libraries in schools, campuses and communities nationwide in celebrating National Library Week, a time to highlight the value of libraries, librarians and library workers. “Libraries Lead” is this year’s theme for National Library Week, April 08 through April 14, 2018.  To celebrate, all locations of WCPL will have an amnesty period from April 08 through April 14 when fines will be forgiven on overdue materials. The library will also have two special giveaways. Each branch will have an educational gift basket that children, age newborn through 5 years old, can enter to win. Then system wide, WCPL will be giving away 4 Cedar Point tickets that include food for the day, parking, and 4 souvenir water bottles. Check our Events Calendar for all the special programs!

Remodeling to begin on Bryan Main Library in August

Remodeling, library closed August - SeptemberThe Bryan Main Library Adult Department will be undergoing a full remodel starting August 07. The remodel is expected to last through September 04, weather permitting. Due to how much construction will be taking place, the Main Library will be closed during this time, and is expected to reopen on Tuesday, September 05.  Throughout the renovation process, the Bryan Main Library Local History Center will act as the hub for all library activities, check-ins/check outs, and patron services. The Local History Center will be open its normal hours, Monday and Tuesday: 10:00 am-8:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 am-6:00 pm, as well as being open on Fridays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm while the Main building is under construction. All other WCPL locations, with branches in Edgerton, Edon, Pioneer, Stryker, and West Unity will remain open their normal hours.  Williams County Public Library would like to apologize for any inconvenience that comes from the Main building being closed for a period of time, but would also like to thank the Williams County community once again for its continuous support. Without you, the library would not be able to undergo these much needed improvements.  The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 East High Street.
