Bookends Grand Re-Opening

 Bookends Used booksThe Bookends Used Bookstore, located on the second floor of the Bryan Main Library has expanded its space. The store now holds almost twice the amount of books, along with a couch and fireplace, for guests to enjoy a relaxing experience while in the bookstore. Bookends will have its grand re-opening celebration February 2nd through 6th. There will be free cookies and coffee throughout the week, along with fun door prizes. On February 2nd, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Bryan Times editor Don Allison will be in Bookends holding a presentation and book signing for his first published book, The Best of On My Mind: The Bryan Times Newspaper Columns of Don Allison. You don’t want to miss it.

Free Basic Tax Filing at the Bryan Library

Are you stressed out over the upcoming tax season? Well worry no more! The Ohio Benefit Bank will be offering free basic tax filing sessions by appointment at the Bryan Library on Thursdays from 10:00-5:00 pm beginning Feb. 5th through April 9th. If your individual income is $65,000 or less you could qualify for free tax filing. 

Carnegie Concerts Present Seth Abram

Seth AbramOn Friday, January 30 at 7:00 pm singer/songwriter Seth Abram will perform as part of the Carnegie Concert Series at the Bryan Main Library. To learn more about Seth or to order his CD’s, you can visit his website at www.sethabram.com

Seth’s concert will take place in the Carnegie area of the Main Library, and his CD’s will be available to purchase. Additional acts in the Carnegie Concert Series will be added as they become available.  Interested performers should email carnegieconcertseries@gmail.com or call the library 419-636-6734 Ext. 239. The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 E. High Street.
